Radio Perfect Mucus(2010)
My second RPM album "Radio Perfect Mucus" is a darker effort then last years more goofy "Rabid Peripheral Mermaid". The first week of the month of February was taken up with me moving to a new province, I didn't know if I would be capable of pulling of a whole album in three weeks. But the lack of distractions and the fact that I had absolutely no friends or acquaintances in this new city proved to be incredibly beneficial to the creative process. This album is different from other SUPERGOD! releases in that I had a much smaller arsenal of instruments to deal with, the feel of the album is a bit more sparse and unsettling then usual. All I had was my acoustic, my electric, my ukulele, my recorder, a 2 dollar toy keyboard and a handful of noisemakers. This is also the first time I haven't used any foreign samples in a SUPERGOD! album, all sounds were made by me (I used Drumbot if anyone is curious where some of the drum sounds are coming from). Anyway, some of it is pretty, some of it ain't, give it a listen and tell me what you think.
